New Reflections acknowledges and pays respect to the past, present, and future Traditional Custodians and Elders of this nation, as well as the continuation of cultural, spiritual, and educational practices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
In the spirit of reconciliation, we recognise the Traditional Custodians of the land throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea, and community. We acknowledge that we are here today on the land of the Eora Nation and the Gadigal people, the traditional custodians and owners of Newport and its surrounding areas. We pay our respects to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
